Seven categories and a total of sixty-seven laureates of extraordinary awards marked this year’s Rector’s Awards ceremony. Michael Kohajda, Rector of Palacký University Olomouc, presented the awards for 2025 at the Metropol Cinema.
The awards recognized authors of academic publications, outstanding students for the best bachelor’s, master’s, and research theses, as well as exceptional sporting achievements. Doctoral students were also among the laureates, and for the first time, a special award for the popularization of science and public communication was presented.
Among the awardees was former master’s student Sára Filipová, who received the Rector’s Award 2025 for the best master’s thesis. Her work, Metabolomic Characterization of Endometriosis, was supervised by Lukáš Najdekr.
