Area of interest, the basic used technologies and special knowledge
- The effect of the precursors of nucleic acids on their metabolism and cellular metabolism, the development of the new methods for the detection of proliferation activity of mammalian cells and systems for the fast detection of proteins based on the magnetic separations, organisation of chromatin, DNA replication and repair, the development of the new methods for measurement of enzyme activity, study of base excision repair and its use in cancer treatment.
- Immunocytochemical detections, confocal and light microscopy, molecular biology methods, cell cultivation, electron microscopy including electron tomography, high pressure freezing and freeze substitution.
- Other knowledge: work with Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop, Corel Draw, ImageJ, Cell Profiler, ilastik, 3D model programs: Rhinoceros, programming in Python.
