Cytogenetic changes in lung cancer patients
Bachelor’s thesis is focused on cytogenetic changes in lung cancer patients. Student will prepare a probe to investigate copy number of EGFR (located on chromosome 7) or the presence of inversion in ROS1 (located on chromosome 6) and ALK (located on chromosome 2). Status of these genes will be investigated by FISH method. Also another change will be detected – presence of HPV in lung cancer tissues using PCR.
