
Associate Professor Ing. Jiří Krechl, Ph.D. – Chair of the Board
Dr. Krechl is an organic chemist with interests in compound collections, chemoinformatics and drug development. He currently serves as head of R&D at the Czech Investment Agency (CzechInvest).
Professor Ing. Martin Fusek, Ph.D. – Member of the Board
Dr. Fusek is a biochemist with experience in drug research and development, technology transfer and management of research projects. He is the founder and former CEO of the technology transfer office IOCB-TTO, and currently serves as Vice Director at the IOCB.
Jiří Deml, M.D. – Member of the Board
Dr. Deml is an expert in pharmacology and regulatory affairs. He has served as a Vice Director of the Czech Institute for Drug Control and as Director of operations at CEITEC. He is currently the CEO at Archie Samuel.
Professor Dr. Miroslav Mašláň, Ph.D. – Member of the Board
Dr. Mašláň is an expert in the material sciences, nanotechnology and technology transfer. He was the Rector of Palacky University until January 2014, and is currently the Vice Rector for development and technology transfer.
Associate Professor Marek Svoboda, M.D. Ph.D. – Member of the Board
Marek Svoboda, MD., PhD., Associate Professor of Oncology, vice-director for science at Masaryk Memorial Cancer Institute in Brno, Czech Republic.
Dr. Marek Svoboda is clinical oncologist, internationally recognized expert in cancer biomarkers and cancer genetics. His research interests include various aspects of pathogenesis and clinical-labortory characteristics of breas, colorectal ad rare cancers. He was involved in multiple clinical trials in oncology and is aware of Czech biomedical research landscape.
Associate Professor Vojtěch Kamarád, M.D., D.Sc. – Past Member of the Board (until 2013)
Dr. Kamarad is an expert in morphology and morphometric sciences. He has served at TEVA Pharmaceuticals as Director of pharmacovigilance for Europe and later as a board member until his appointment at the Faculty of Medicine and Dentistry, Palacky University in 2013.
