The project "New technologies in biomedicine at PU" is a project prepared by the Institute of Molecular and Translational Medicine, Palacky University Olomouc. The project is implemented with the support of the Operational Programme Research and Development for Innovations. The project enable the technical completion of six commercially promising R&D results of IMTM and their preparation for future commercialization, including in particular the verification of the results by testing, validation of technical feasibility, formulating a plan of commercialization, protection of intellectual property, verification of commercial sites etc.
The project is divided into two phases - the first phase, Proof of Concept, covers the detailed verification of all six potential outcomes, and the second phase, preparation of commercialization, forward those of them who demonstrate the highest potential for commercialization. These results will be finalized in the final stages and will be offered to potential buyers.
Another goal of the project is to develop a system for support the commercialization and in time protection of intellectual property generated mainly at the IMTM.
