Modification of triterpenes with the use of transition metal catalyzed reactions and nucleophilic substitution
In this work, a larger study of transition metal catalyzed reaaction of triterpenes should be studied in order to find a new approach for a preparation of novel derivatives with high cytotoxic activity and favorable pharmacological properties.

Modification of the position 2 in betulin, allobetulin and betulinic acid with polar substituents
The main aim of the study is to modify lupane and 18-αoleanane triterpenoids in order to obtain a set of new derivatives with higher cytotoxicity and better solubility than the starting material.
