Kishore Amit Ph.D.
My research interest is to understand the molecular mechanism of lung interstitial diseases including Sarcoidosis and Idiopathic Pulmonary Fibrosis (IPF). The mechanism/ pathway has still remained less defined and thus, among several molecular factors, I am trying to understand their association with dysregulation of microRNA expression at transcriptional level by studying exosomal miRNAs expression profiling at systemic level in Sarcoidosis patients. Also, for IPF, I am working to understand the disease susceptibility at genetic level by carrying out polymorphism association under case-control study.
